Bangor Land Trust is a non-profit organization that owns and conserves over 700 acres of land with public access in the Bangor, Maine area.

Our mission is to protect for public benefit land and water in the Bangor region that have special ecological, natural, scenic, agricultural, or recreational significance; and increase public understanding of the value of land and water conservation. Founded in 2001, BLT is supported by members and fundraising events.

Winter Adventure with Cocoa, Bangor

February 16 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Saturday, February 16 at 10 a.m. meet at the cul-de-sac at the end of Fox Hollow Lane (West Penjajawoc Preserve ). Bring snowshoes or skis depending on snow depth. If conditions permit, we'll explore out onto the Penjajawoc Marsh where you'll get a 360-degree view of BLT preserves (we'll bring a map to orient you). If rain and thaws have kept the Marsh too soft, we'll explore tracks on the Grasslands and along its edges. Bring your favorite energy bar…
