Wildlands Winter Run, Orland

February 17 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

$10 – $15

A 4.4 mile run or walk on snowshoes on snow-covered dirt roads and a bit of single track trails with plenty of up and down running. This will be a limited run so please run with your own water. If there is no snow, bring rugged running shoes! You can expect the chance encounter of wildlife. The course is not a groomed course so footing is rough at best for most of this run, and there are hills to climb and small stream crossings to maneuver around. Also, there may be the possibility of icy or slippery conditions present on the course. Be prepared for the cold. Distances may be modified based on the day of the event conditions. The course will be clearly marked in USSSA standards with orange and red flagging.
Who: This event is only for the type of person who knows what to expect and prepares for an off road event year round. This is a winter event and subject to extreme cold. Dress appropriately.
Beneficiary: Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust, who grants us the privilege of running in this beautiful land. Pre-Entry is $10, and Day of Entry is $15. Please make checks payable to GPMCT.
