Sadly, the rainy weather meant that Art in the Snow couldn’t take place as planned. It was raining and warm, and so our idea of building colored ice sculptures did not work out as planned. But we saved all the materials, and a few days later we had some happy families come and create art in the snow! We did welcome some wonderful visitors to Cushing who heard about GMOW online, and came from as far as Damariscotta to experience the magic of the Langlais Sculpture Preserve in winter. We can’t wait to do it again next year! This event was put on by the Georges River Land Trust, more info can be found here: https://www.georgesriver.org/.
